Ingredients
  

Steak

  • 1 lb sirloin steak or ribeye, cut into strips
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Pasta

  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta or penne
  • 1 tbsp salt for boiling pasta

Sauce

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes optional

Instructions
 

  • Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Season the steak with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat with olive oil. Sear steak strips for 3-4 minutes per side until browned and cooked to desired doneness. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  • Add heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir and let simmer for 3-4 minutes until thickened.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
  • Return the steak to the skillet, toss, and cook for 1 more minute.
  • Serve warm, garnished with extra Parmesan and fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

You can substitute sirloin with ribeye or filet mignon for a different flavor profile. Feel free to add mushrooms or spinach for extra texture and nutrients.
